Dear Fire Fighter Supporters:

The Professional Fire Fighters and Paramedics of North Carolina (PFFPNC) would like to thank you for your support of our Fundraising Drive.  It is your support that will help us with our many programs.  Our Association represents over 1,800 Professional Fire Fighters, Paramedics and Emergency Medical Technicians in their efforts to take a pro-active approach to fire safety laws and community services throughout the state.  We represent the individual members, not the agencies.

Needless to say, we are proud of the history of our organization.  The PFFPNC was chartered October 15, 1940.  Through the years the Association has helped to train thousands of fire fighters and paramedics in health and safety and other educational programs. All of our members have always put the safety of, and services to the public first and our desire is to continue this proud tradition. This year we are offering tickets to two great entertainers for your enjoyment.

While our association is not a tax deductible charity, it is a non-profit organization and we feel our programs are very important.  We hope by supporting this event, you are saying you feel they are important too.

Your support means a lot.  We sincerely hope that our actions will warrant your continued support in the future.  The Fire Fighters of our nation are rated as having the number one most hazardous occupation in terms of death and injury.  Working with the citizens of North Carolina communities, perhaps we can change these statistics.

The proceeds we raise from fund-raising events like this will go into our general operating fund and will be used to support the many outstanding programs and other member’s benefits of our association which include, but are not limited to:

  • STATEWIDE support for laws that make North Carolina a safer place to work.
  • SUPPORT for health, safety and educational programs for Professional Fire Fighters and Paramedics in North Carolina.
  • COLORING BOOK PROGRAM to promote fire safety awareness and fire safety to elementary school children in North Carolina.
  • NEW LAWS for a stronger hazardous material bill the will require improved notification of all hazardous materials and chemicals being transported or stored within North Carolina so fire fighters, EMS personnel, as well as the citizens, can be better prepared in case of any related emergency.
  • Educating the public about Photoelectric Smoke Detectors that will help save lives in our communities.

Remember this great show will start at 8:00 PM on Saturday, October 30, 2010, at the Bo jangles Coliseum (Formerly Cricket Arena) in Charlotte, NC.  Our great entertainers are “Collin Raye” and “Pete Huttlinger”  For additional tickets, call (704) 874-0170.  See you at the show and thanks again for your support.
